| Bismillah rahman rahim. First let me dispense with
the always unnecessary legal information. The contents of my website
are mine personally and do not reflect any position of the Peace
Corps. So with that out of the way, on with the show.
If you’re reading this chances are you’re a family
member or a friend. How’s it going? Glad you could make it.
If you’re neither of these and you’ve stumbled upon
this site somehow, welcome. Take a look around and I hope you see
something that you like. What you’ll find here is a somewhat
desultory photographic record of my ongoing life here in Morocco.
Ever being the idealist with hopes that one day we’ll start
behaving like humans, I decided to sign up for the Peace Corps (see
disclaimer above) after finishing up my time at the University of
Richmond. I found that Morocco would be my port of call, packed
my bags, and before I knew it I was going through training (but
that’s a whole different story).
After two and a half months of said training, I once again packed
my bags, this time for the journey to my new home, Erfoud. Erfoud
is a small town in southeast Morocco (find the border of Algeria
and you’ll be close to finding Erfoud) right on the edge of
the Sahara. Generally I pass my days here teaching English at the
local dar chebab (youth house), running with some students, reading,
brushing up on my Arabic, and catching up with friends at a café.
Needless to say, life is great here and I have been made welcome
here since day one. So without further ado, here’s a website
to give you all an idea of where I live and what life is like in
the Kingdom of Morocco. Continue

Well I have departed from the Royal Kingdom of Morocco and I am making my way back to the US. We are headed in the easterly direction. For details check our blog. Also have a new blog for a small friend of mine. Check out Shwiya's Blog.
